News from the farm
The year 2023 has been good one for our Morgan horse program at Arcola Farm. We have enjoyed working with head trainer Hanna Johnson and her wonderful team at Burntside Farm in Stillwater Minnesota. Burntside farm has successfully sold 5 Arcola Morgan horses for us this year to new owners throughout the USA. We are pleased that Arcola Morgans have won many blues and even came away with a World Champion Futurity Yearling Filly with Hanna and her assistant Laura showing our sweet Filly DWS Mon Cherie to the win. We are so thankful for these stellar moments but also thankful for all the time and effort this team has taken with all our Morgan horses, young and old. This year Arcola Farm did not have any foals but we did buy an adorable weanling colt named Troika's Secret Endeavor from our dear friends Jim and Linda Kvanbeck. We thank them both for allowing us to own this sweet guy we call Jimmy. He is by Saralin Seabourn and out of Troika's Brown Eyed Girl. He is a handsome guy and we look forward to watching him grown up into something special!
