Arcola News

2021

Hello to all our friends, family and horse community!  We hope and pray all is well with you during these unusual times.  On top of all the challenges of today, here at Arcola Farm we have been in transition.  We decided it was time to evolve Arcola Farm from a training facility to a smaller breeding farm. This change has not been easy but we remain thankful for all the wonderful memories and successes we have had through the years with our wonderful Arcola Team.

In 2021 we welcomed 2 beautiful colts to Arcola Farm and couldn't be more proud! Our first colt we named Arcola's Glory Be, and is by the late, great, Queen's Glory Days and out of one of our favorites broodmares, Dragonsmeade Adele.  Our second colt, Arcola's Allain is by Futurity French Command out of the Ignitor mare, T-Town into the Night. Both colts have the quality and bounce we love to see as youngsters. We are looking forward to watching them grow up on the farm.

This year Arcola Farm has enjoyed partnering with James and Becky Gruenberg from Stone Ledge Farm, Nick and Dusty from Freiheit Performance Horses, and Hanna Johnson from Burntside Farm, who have done a wonderful job training and selling some of our horses. We thank them all for their support, expert training and care of our horses throughout 2021!

Arcola Farm thanks to all the families, breeders and clients who purchased our broodmares, show horses and young stock this year. We have had a wonderful selling year in 2021 because of you all!  We appreciate your trust in our breeding program and hope you enjoy your new Arcola Farm horses!

We had to share one of our fall pictures from the St. Croix Valley, here in Minnesota. We have enjoyed the sun and warmth these past weeks, as it snowed last year during this time!! We have realized that we have to find the time to stop and enjoy our ever changing scenery around us.  Here at Arcola Farm we look to the future, full of gratitude, as we enjoy watching our Morgan horses grow up and show us what they want to be when they grow up. This is one of the greatest joys for us as breeders....this and enjoying those beautiful Morgan foals, of course!!
