Arcola News

Greetings to all of our Morgan loving friends. We hope you are all doing well and staying healthy.  We are doing well even though 2020 has thrown various challenges our way.  We have so much to be thankful for.  This year we have sold more horses than we ever expected (thanks to our many friends and clients). Arcola Farm was blessed to have 4 beautiful and healthy 2020 foals (our new additions pictured here).  We were able to get to 2 shows this year, including the Morgan Grand Nationals in Oklahoma City, OK.  We were happy to get the chance to show in Oklahoma this year, with protocols in action, and still see competition thrived. It seems in life there is always a silver lining and we felt this way after we sold 3 of our show horses at the Grand Nationals.

We are proud to share the following new owners of some of our Morgan horses we sold this year with the help of our wonderful past trainer, Tom Bombolis:

-We would love to congratulate owner/rider Sophia Stillings on the purchase Sunny Acres Alakazam (Zeke). Many thanks to receiving trainer Reese Richey of Wind Blu Farm for his help with this selection.

-We would like to congratulate Laura Lindsay and new owner/rider Lindsay heliker on the purchase of the hunter pleasure mare SN Mardi Gras Boogie (Grace). Many thanks to receiving trainers Frank and Ann Miller of Miller Equestrian Services for their help with this selection.

-Congratulations to Chris and Jill Sweeney on their purchase of Unzipped (Zippy) for their daughter Ashley Sweeney. We wish you all the very best with this special gelding and know you will fall in love with him just as we have. Many thanks to Shanna Gish and her team at Indian Creek Farm for their help with this sale.

-Many thanks to several other clients who purchased some of our broodmares and young stock this year. We appreciate your love of this breed and hope you enjoy your new Arcola Farm horses.

It's hard to believe it has already snowed in Minnesota and November has just begun.  We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas season this year.  Call us optimistic or full of gratitude, either way we look to the beauty and nature around us on the farm, and our young Morgan horses, to show us there are new beginnings full of excitement and promise ahead.
